Rogue Athletic Club and Rogue Running would like to invite you to our summer running camp. The camp is targeted towards middle school and high school students interested in running cross-country and / or track. Summer training is an important building block to having a successful year of running. Learning how to train can help prevent injury and increase the chances of success in high school running. The camp will teach athletes the basics of distance running, such as how to structure mileage, how to build strength and endurance, pacing tactics, and race day preparation.
The camp will be lead by Rogue Athletic Club: Rogue’s elite running group. The coaches of this camp have run at the NCAA level, have multiple All-American awards to their names, and have competed in the Olympic Trials and in international competitions representing their country. More importantly, the coaches have a firm understanding of how to develop successful high school athletes while maintaining the fun and enjoyment in the sport. Although this is a group camp, the coaches will take an individualized approach with each athlete. Runners come from all different types or backgrounds and we will work with each runner individual to maximize his or her potential.
